It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Everything we ordered was delicious, with well-balanced flavors and nice presentation. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived — the staff was friendly, attentive, and quick with the food. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, perfect for enjoying with a partner or friends. I would definitely go back and recommend it if you’re looking for good food and friendly service.

Nice Italian restaurant in East Village. We had reservations for 4 and were seated promptly w/o a wait. Some outdoor seating, we dined in. There was a large party the same evening, so little loud, but not bad at all. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious food. The bread wasn't bad, definitely not my favorite, but we started w/ burrata caprese and truffle cesar salad w/ requested anchovies. Everything was very fresh tasting w/ great flavor. For dinner we ordered, milanese w/ fetuccini al burro, flaunder a la francese, mushroom and truffle white lasagna, and spaghetti pomodoro. We shared all the dishes, the flaunder was delicious, the fetuccini pasta was great. The mushroom lasagna was really good w/ the earthy flavor and the white sauce. I recommend stopping by there if you are in the East Village, worth the trip out and the prices are reasonable for New York. Looking forward to returning.

The Hot Rigatoni Vodka is PHENOMENAL! That was undoubtedly the best pasta dish that I've had from there. The spice, the sausage and guanciale.. added a lot to this dish. Usually, I am terrible with spice but this was not too spicy. It was so flavorful and had the right amount of kick. The bread on the side was so delicious and fluffy too. I will say though, I would skip on the Milanese w/Fettuccini. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and the staff were wonderful!

We ordered Gnocchi and Risotto which were of the right portion size, tasty and with real texture. The service was top notch. Even the free bread and Olive oil were fabulous. We ended our meal with Tiramisu which left poked fresh and not too sweet. Overall a great experience. Special kudos to staff and the floor manager for being courteous and responsive.

We got seated at a table right by the entrance, and the vibe was really nice and cozy. The food was amazing — we ordered three dishes and two drinks, and everything was spot on. The grilled octopus was definitely a highlight! Perfect place for a chill night. Definitely coming back.

Came here with my partner after a big moving day from Brooklyn to East Village. We were exhausted and hungry and wanted something nice and cozy that would fill us up. House of Pasta did not disappoint. It was a Monday so it wasn’t busy and there were two staff on the floor. They both waited on us and checked in routinely. Service was standard and good, the food was spectacular. We got the white fish crudo and crispy calamari to share. The calamari was crisp and fresh and the serving size is generous. Crudo was great as well but I think they can serve it with a little more of the thin crisp bread and can use a little more acid. I got the truffle pasta with Milanese which did its job, and my partner ordered a pulled pork tortellini which was surprisingly light, but good! Our total with two glasses of wine came to be around $150 excluding tax&tip. Probably will be my go to pasta place from now on!

Nestled in the vibrant East Village at 511 E 12th St, House of Pasta NYC is a culinary gem that brings together the rich traditions of Italian cuisine with a modern New York twist. This cozy eatery stands out for its exceptional pasta dishes, each crafted with care to balance flavors and textures impeccably. From the first bite, it is clear that quality ingredients are at the heart of every plate.

The Hot Rigatoni Vodka, a standout on the menu, delivers a perfect harmony of spice, sausage, and guanciale that ignites the palate without overwhelming it. It’s a dish that speaks to both passion and precision, offering a flavorful kick that delights even those hesitant about spice. Complementing this, the mushroom and truffle white lasagna offers an earthy richness, while the flounder à la française highlights the kitchen’s versatility with seafood excellence.

Attention to detail extends beyond the entrées. The fresh burrata caprese and truffle Caesar salad with anchovies exemplify how House of Pasta NYC elevates classic starters through freshness and depth of flavor. The bread, often overlooked, is noted for its fluffiness and deliciousness, pairing flawlessly with the accompanying olive oil to enhance the dining experience.

Service here is as commendable as the food. Friendly, attentive staff create a welcoming atmosphere that is both comfortable and lively. Whether seated indoors or enjoying some outdoor seating, guests find the vibe conducive to intimate dinners or social gatherings alike.

House of Pasta NYC is more than a restaurant; it is a destination where authentic Italian flavors meet thoughtful hospitality. For those seeking a well-rounded Italian meal in the heart of New York, this spot is definitely worth visiting again and again.
